Our wedding cakes and grooms cakes start at $4.75 per serving. These prices include 1 signature flavor and 1 signature filling per tier. The final cost of the cake depends on the flavor, design, the number of servings, and the delivery + set up fee.

SET-UP & DELIVERY
DO YOU OFFER SET-UP AND DELIVERY?
Yes! We offer delivery and setup of wedding cake and desserts. This service is available for weddings and larger events with minimum order of $350. Delivery costs start at $35 and increase depending on distance to venue, day/time of wedding, and involvement of setup.
Set-up includes setting up cake and placing desserts on their respective stands/platters, so please make sure any display pieces that you’re providing are on the cake table ahead of our arrival.
DO YOU PROVIDE CAKE STANDS?
We offer a limited amount of stands for rental. Please let us know if this is something you are interested in and we can give you more information.
TASTINGS, CONSULTATIONS & PAYMENT
IS THERE A CONSULTATION FEE?
Tastings are $25, which will be applied to your order should you choose to book with us. You and a guest can try 3 flavors and 3 fillings in any combination before meeting with one of our cake artists. $5/guest over 3. Book minimum $350 same day as tasting and tasting is complimentary!
WHAT SHOULD WE EXPECT FROM A CONSULTATION, AND HOW SHOULD WE PREPARE?
Tastings last about one hour. You can try up to 3 different flavors of cake and 3 fillings in any combination and will leave with a cake design and price quote. Please feel free to bring pictures, color swatches, invitations or anything else that will serve as inspiration for the cake design. During your consultation, we’ll cover cake(s) design and dessert options. While you’re diving into your delicious desserts, we’ll work on writing up and pricing out your design on an invoice, which we’ll walk you through at the end of the appointment. You’ll receive an emailed copy of your invoice and contract the same day as your consultation. To prepare for the consultation, you should find some cake designs (Pinterest, our Instagram and website gallery are great places to start) you're interested in and think about whether you want a bridal cake, groom’s cake, and/or other desserts (cupcakes, cake pops, royal iced cookies, brownies, etc). Bring pictures for design inspiration, and if you’re unsure about what you want, that’s okay too! We can chat with you about what you do and don’t like, and create a custom design based off of your personal preferences.
WHAT IF WE’RE TOO BUSY OR LIVE OUT OF TOWN, AND CAN’T MAKE IT IN FOR A CONSULTATION?
No problem! We can email or chat over the phone about what you’re interested in, build an invoice based on that conversation and email it to you. Assuming you’re also interested in tasting cake flavors (which is the best part!), we can prepare a tasting on a to-go basis to be picked up at your convenience - we just need a couple of days’ notice to get it together.
HOW MUCH IS A WEDDING CAKE?
Every cake is different and is therefore individually priced. There are three main factors that impact the cost — the size, the flavors & fillings and the decoration. Our tiered wedding cakes are priced by the serving, starting at $4.75 per slice (wedding cake slices are generally 1” x 2” x 4”). The base price includes one cake flavor and one filling per tier in one of our signature flavors . Our cakes can be made in any size to accommodate your number of guests, but as a reference point three tier cakes start at $352 (74 slices) and four tier cakes start at $618 (130 slices). An upcharge applies for premium flavors and fillings. Our full menu of flavors and fillings can be viewed above.
The additional charge for the decoration is based upon the complexity of the design, the materials used and the time required to complete it. Generally speaking, buttercream designs and fresh flowers are less expensive than fondant work, intricate piping, metallic finishes or gumpaste and wafer paper flowers.
WE'VE HAD A CONSULTATION WITH YOU AND ARE READY TO BOOK!
YAY! We’re so excited to bake for your big day! The first thing you’ll want to do is place your deposit to reserve your date. We require a 50% deposit to hold your date based upon the size and design we discuss at your consultation. We will re-confirm all the details two weeks prior to your wedding (you can make changes to the design, size or flavor up until then) and collect the remaining balance at that point.
WHEN SHOULD WE PLACE OUR DEPOSIT?
You can never book too early, and should plan to pay the deposit as soon as you know you want to book with us! We recommend placing your deposit about 5 to 9 months out from your wedding date in order to have the best chance of receiving a spot on our calendar. After that, we may start to fill up and cannot guarantee availability! But don’t let that time frame discourage you; even if your wedding is coming up fast, we may still be able to create amazing desserts for you. Just ask!
CAN WE MAKE CHANGES TO OUR ORDER AFTER PLACING A DEPOSIT?
Changes to design can be made during your consultation and 2 revisions there after. If you need additional design changes you will need to come in for another consultation. Cake flavor changes can be made up until 3 weeks before your wedding date.
CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE SPECIAL DIETS? WHAT IF I AM NOT A CAKE PERSON?
We offer a limited menu in gluten free OR vegan options, but not gluten free AND vegan. We do our best to accommodate food allergies, however we do work with 6 of the top 8 food allergens (milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, and wheat) and cannot guarantee that there will not be cross-contamination.
We also offer cupcakes, cake balls, cookies, brownies, and a variety of other desserts.
CAN I PICK MY CAKE UP MYSELF?
Yes – in many cases you can safely transport your cake yourself (or have a friend or family member pick it up for you). In these cases, we will have the cake fully assembled and ready to go. Cake must be picked up during normal business hours. We will package it in a sturdy cardboard box the same size as the cakeboard on the bottom tier (so it doesn’t move around). The box will have a flap in the front, so once you arrive you just fold down the flap, slide the cake out, and set it in its place of honor.
You will need a safe driver and a vehicle with a flat surface big enough to hold the cake (e.g. the cargo area in a station wagon, SUV, or minivan – sometimes the floorboards will also work for a smaller cake). Please note that the front seat is generally not truly flat and is not recommended for transporting your cake. The key to success is to keep the cake cool (turn on that AC!) and to avoid hard stops or sharp turns.
